about me
Hi! I’m Megan! I live in Fort Worth, Texas. I’m a living, breathing enneagram #1 and that’s really all the info you need to know how I function ;) I have always been an overachiever when it comes to planning, presentation, and coordinating. Putting that talent into a day-of coordinating business just made sense!
When I’m not helping couples live happily-ever-after, I like to spend my days with my two dogs, Zeus and Ferb, or working on various house projects. I absolutely love what I do. Every wedding is different with more opportunities to grow and use my creative side in various ways. I love working with couples on their wedding day and making this a day they will always remember with fond memories to last a lifetime.

how it works
A “Day Of” Coordinator is perfect for couples that want to manage all the big plans on their own but would love a helping hand so they can worry less and celebrate more on their big day!
I will jump into the process a few weeks to a few months prior to the wedding. I will be there to take over on the day of the wedding to ensure everything runs smoothly and according to plan.
Prior to the wedding, you will meet with me so I can understand your preferences and plans for the wedding day. Together, we will set up a detailed timeline of the wedding you envision and list out all vendors involved as well as their contact information. I will be the contact for all vendors on the wedding day.
I will be prepared for anything that may arise unexpectedly and handle it promptly and professionally. The Bride and Groom do not need to worry about ANYTHING. I’m a real MacGyver and am well equipped for thinking on my feet in a pinch!
Throughout the wedding day and rehearsal, if requested, I’ll help with a wide variety of tasks including:
Set up of ceremony and reception venues
Assist in the set up of decorations
Ensure the bridal party is ready on time for the ceremony and communicate any details
Direct guests to the ceremony
Alert Ushers and Groomsmen on when to begin escorting guest
Cue bridal party to begin processional
Greet all vendors and instruct them as to where to set up
Assist in the set up of table centerpieces, linens, candles, and any other decorations required
Look over table set ups to confirm they are set up properly before guests arrive
Direct guests to cocktail hour and reception and answer and questions they may have
Ensure proper flow of Cocktail Hour food and drinks
Handle any emergencies that may arise
Help with set up of champagne flutes, cake cutters, etc.
Remain easily accessible through the entire event in case there are any details the Bride & Groom would like attended to
Assist catering and other venue staff with any remaining set up, preparation, or other needs
Encourage guests to take their seats at the appropriate time
Ensure all guests are comfortable and all special needs are met
Cue band, DJ or designated emcee throughout the reception for introductions, first dances, toasts, bouquet toss, etc.
Keep the schedule running along timely
Coordinate the walk-out
Clean up the venue after the reception
Ensure all gifts, decor and personal items are packed into the designated vehicles at the end of the evening
